Storm in Sg. Long : The Aftermath

Well, took some shots while on my way to campus this morning, just to let u guys know the full brunt of the typhoon had onto... the trees! LOL! anyway most of the debris has been cleared up by then so wat u see is not what i saw last nite... it was even worse last nite... here goes...

this one were broken in the middle while its neighbouring tree almost suffered the same fate...

This was one of the tree that fell and blocked the road last nite... one which the Bomba men (they're not called firemen anymore, it's Fire Safety Officers to you! "Sir! Yesssir!") were removing last nite...

The Road Blocker main culprit... there goes the whole tree! and the Bomba men simply disect (chainsaw lah...) its remains into many parts... hmm... dry it up, good as firewood! anyone wana go camping? got lotsa supplies here!!

This one... i dono wana say lucky or not la... lucky coz he didnt fell last nite, still standing, but unlucky coz... well, see for urself, senget sebelah... just waiting for its time lah i guess... oh, and i pray for the house owner nearby... it's really slanting towards somebody's house! not to forget luxury cars also!!!

see this? taken at my campus, the same tree where i took some shots last nite... a bit better though, no more blocking the road...

so, to sum it up... it was really a typhoon yesterday... saw some shop's advert board really fell of as well. my landlord just called and the repairman are gonna come today... good.

anyway, i was wondering how would it be like if someone is standing out there in the middle of the storm... would he be, say, gone with the wind?
